Taryn Miller
Graduate Counseling Intern
Taryn provides compassionate counseling support for clients seeking healing, clarity, emotional stability, and growth through trauma-specialized and faith-informed care.
About Taryn
Taryn is a Graduate Counseling Intern, currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC). She works under the direct clinical supervision of Lolita Baker, LPC. She works with clients who are seeking a safe, supportive space to process emotional stress, trauma, anxiety, life transitions, and faith-related questions. Her style is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in a desire to help clients feel seen and supported.
Though early in her counseling career, Taryn is no stranger to the weight of human struggle. She began her work in mental health serving clients in crisis and vulnerable populations — environments that shaped her into a grounded, compassionate clinician who doesn’t shy away from hard conversations.
She is passionate about growing in trauma-specialized care and faith-based counseling approaches. Taryn values clear communication, honest reflection, and creating a counseling environment where clients can move at a pace that feels productive and meaningful.
Taryn specializes in working with children, teens, and young adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, depression, and relational conflict, and welcomes adult clients as well.
Beyond the therapy room, Taryn is an active faith leader among local college ministries — a role that speaks to her heart for people in the middle of some of life’s most formative and challenging years.
