2. No Emergency Services

LITD Trauma Counseling does not provide emergency or crisis services through this website, email, SMS, or online messaging systems.

3. Therapeutic Relationship

Contacting LITD Trauma Counseling through this website, forms, email, or phone does not establish a therapeutic relationship. A therapist-client relationship begins only after intake procedures, informed consent documentation, and provider agreement are completed.

Providers reserve the right to determine clinical appropriateness for services and referrals.

4. Telehealth & Online Services

Online counseling services are available only to clients physically located in Texas at the time of service.

Clients are responsible for maintaining a secure and private environment during telehealth sessions and ensuring they have appropriate technology and internet access.

5. Payments & Insurance

Clients are responsible for understanding fees, insurance coverage, copays, deductibles, cancellation policies, and payment obligations prior to services.

Good Faith Estimates may be provided in accordance with applicable federal law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, branding, graphics, logos, layout, and written materials, is the property of LITD Trauma Counseling, PLLC unless otherwise noted.

Content may not be copied, redistributed, or reproduced without written permission.

7. Limitations of Liability

Information provided on this website is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical, psychological, or legal advice.

8. Consumer Rights & Information

Requesting Your Records

As a client, you have the right to request a copy of your health care records. However, we encourage you to first discuss this request with your therapist. Clinical notes are written for professional use and, in some cases, reading them without context may be confusing or emotionally distressing.

Your therapist can help you understand what is included in your record and ensure that any request supports your overall well-being.
